Yes. Jobber's Receptionist, powered by Jobber AI, answers calls and texts to your Jobber dedicated phone number 24/7. It can answer questions about your business, create work requests, book jobs in your Jobber schedule, and escalate to a team member.
How does Jobber's AI Receptionist work?
Calls and texts to your Jobber dedicated phone number go to Receptionist; you can forward your existing business number to it (Jobber documents carrier forwarding and Google Voice). It learns from your company settings, business profile and Jobber website FAQ. It books jobs using your Online Booking form and settings, can reschedule or cancel appointments if you allow it, creates requests, and creates follow-up tasks when it takes a message. You can set escalation keywords that text you or transfer the call. It can handle several calls at once, and every conversation has a summary, recording and transcript.
How much does Jobber's AI Receptionist cost?
It's included with unlimited usage on Jobber's Plus plan. On select other plans it's a $29/month add-on that includes 30 conversations; each additional conversation is $0.79, billed on your next renewal invoice. Conversations tagged spam or "no conversation" don't count. You need a paid Jobber subscription either way; the price of Jobber's plans isn't in our data.
What counts as a conversation?
A call counts when Receptionist actively engages with the caller. A text conversation starts when Receptionist first replies and stays open for up to 24 hours, so messages in that window count as one conversation.
What happens when I hit the 30-conversation limit?
You choose: keep going and pay $0.79 per extra conversation, or pause Receptionist. While paused it only takes messages (which don't count) and can't book, until your next billing cycle. Jobber emails admins at 75% and 100% of the limit.
Do I need a new phone number?
You need a Jobber dedicated phone number (available in the US, Canada and the UK), but you can keep your existing number and forward calls to it.
