ServiceTitan AI Voice Agent: what it is, what it costs, and the alternatives
ServiceTitan sells its own AI phone agent for shops on its Basic Phones or Phones Pro systems. It books straight onto your ServiceTitan board, but ServiceTitan doesn't publish what it costs. Here's what its own FAQ says, and the third-party AI receptionists that also book into ServiceTitan.
What it does
- Books new jobs, including after hours, using Adaptive Capacity
- Confirms and reschedules appointments; can cancel appointments if you turn that on
- Recognizes memberships and books eligible Recurring service events
- Communicates dispatch fees
- Sends a payment link by text for outstanding invoices (requires ST Payments)
- Escalates to a live agent when the caller asks, frustration is detected, or a configured keyword or rule is hit
- Switches to Spanish automatically if the caller speaks Spanish
- Logs every call in ServiceTitan and classifies the outcome (Booked, Unbooked, Excused); booked jobs get a "Voice Agent" tag
Limitations listed at launch
- No auto call dispositioning, in-depth follow-up questions, or dispatch-fee negotiation (at launch)
- Doesn't add call notes, summaries or transcripts to booked job records (at launch)
Who it's for
Residential home services companies in the US and Canada on ServiceTitan's The Essentials + The Works packages with an active Basic Phone integration or Phones Pro.
Pricing status: usage-based, rate not published
Billed based on usage. All calls are included in the bill regardless of outcome or the caller's intent. Promotions such as free calls are applied manually. The rate itself is not published in the FAQ.
Because every call counts, spam and wrong numbers that reach the agent are billable too. Ask your ServiceTitan account manager for the per-call rate in writing before you turn it on. We'll add it here if ServiceTitan publishes it.
